The ARB Air Locker is available for most 4WD vehicles. Land Rover, Range Rover, Discovery, Nissan, Toyota, Hi-Lux, Jeep, Land Cruiser, Isuzu, Hummer, Mahindra, Ford, Mitsubishi and others.

The ARB Air Locker comes as a complete kit, in two parts;

Air compressor kit, with wires, relay and air line pipe fittings. You only need one kit per vehicle.

Differential kit, with switches and instructions. You need one kit per axle.

As an added bonus the Air Compressor can be used to inflate tyres, air beds, toys etc with an additional kit.

The ARB Air Locker breaks new ground in providing an instant and full locking differential providing 100% traction, at each wheel - at the push of a button.

Add your reaction time to one tenth of a second and this is as long as it takes for the specially engineered air compressor to air lock your differential thereby directing driving torque to both wheels.

Press the button again and the differential is unlocked and on-road performance is returned. It's that simple and easy, traction just a button push away.

Winning awards and accolades from around the world, rather like Hoover is to vacuum cleaners the initials ARB are now synonomous with traction and diff locks.

The differential unit replaces the planet gears, so your crown wheel and pinion ratio is not affected, being 100% stronger in manufacture than the original differential you don't need to worry about breaking it. You also get a 4 pinion diff arrangement.

However the advice of 4 All Fours is to ensure your shafts and other drivetrain components are in top condition.

There is no transmission wind up when the ARB Air Locker is not engaged, it does not need extra maintenance, and normal oil changes are all that are required.

The ARB CKSA12 compressor kit was designed specifically as an economical, quick installing, super compact air source to suit the ARB Air Locker, which also suits the harsh and demanding environment of the ARB Air Locker user. This air compressor is for air locker operation only - not to be used for filling tires.   (Notepad information file)

Aeroquip type steel braided hose fittings for the diff end of the ARB air line. No more kinked pipes. faith when you     drive through rough bush, gorse or deep mud. The best upgrade for any ARB owner.

Purge Valve  allows air to activate locker buts stops axle oil travelling back up pipe to pump. Typical application is with low ratio diffs used on road, e.g. 4.75 Land Rover running at 70mph long distance. Suits any axle as fitting is with ARB's 5mm blue pipe.

Fitting will take from six hours depending on host vehicle, if you have reasonable mechanical skills and a good equiped workshop you can carry out this near bolt-in operation. One hole is required to be drilled and tapped in the axle case and the back lash setting on the crown wheel and pinion should be checked or set by a differential expert. We can arrange fitting at associatted workshops throughout the UK or arrange for the diff' unit to come to use for fitting and return for you to fit, we are unable to offer full fitting service direct from this address.
